The Dominion Natural Gas Pipeline transports natural gas from the Marcellus Shale gas fields of Ohio, West Virginia, and Virginia to the extensive storage facilities in Pennsylvania and West Virginia as well as markets in the Mid-Atlantic and New England. The system is made up of 7,800 miles of pipeline and one of the largest underground storage networks in the United States.
