The TGP system is also a significant source of supply for the regional Algonquin Gas Transmission Company system, which is the principal interstate natural gas pipeline serving the Boston, Massachusetts area. The pipeline system is one of the largest in the United States, with over 14,000 miles of line capable of transporting 6.7 BCF/day. The pipeline is owned by Kinder Morgan.
